Word comes today that House Democrats might be poised to torpedo ObamaCare all on their own. Based on the previous vote, minus retirements and resignations, if another vote were held right now it could end in a tie of 216-216. Some people counting the votes though have found at least two block of Democrats who either stated they won't vote for the current bill or haven't publicly signed up to support reconciliation.
Support for dropping Saturday delivery by the U.S. Postal Service is 58% according to Rassmussen. What would it be for every other day delivery? Rick Newman's at U.S. News & World Report puts forth the idea.

Could Open Carry be on it's way to New York? With the Supreme Court hearing arguments by both sides of McDonald v. Chicago Tuesday, and the almost certain overturning of gun control laws in Chicago, some predict New York's gun control laws will be contested in court soon.

With Rep. Massa's resignation Pelosi has lost another potential yes vote on her so called health care "reform" bill. Let's just hope that New York republicans don't screw up for the third time in the last 12 months and give this open seat to the democrats. (I'm going to be looking at the GOP's candidate selection process, will it be done by a few men in a room, or will republican voters in the 29th be able to choose who THEY want to run as their candidate?)
