Congressman Eric Massa resigned from Congress yesterday. Massa isn't going quietly. He claims the White House and House Democratic leadership pushed him out in order to increase the changes of the healthcare reform bill getting passed.

Massa also alleged a confrontation in the House gym shower last year with White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel, who was naked.

Massa may be the most bizarre member of Congress since Mike Forbes (Republican-turned-Democrat) of Long Island.

I agree with S.E. Cupp, who said on Fox's "Red Eye," that if Massa resigned, the accusation against him must be more serious than he is willing to admit.

I also think Republicans should be cautious about giving Massa's claims credibility. (Let's hope local Republicans don't ask him to run!)

Anway, we should be relieved that he is a Democrat, and that we can enjoy the show.

Massa resigned rather than confront allegations he was groping male staffers.

I'd reserve a healthy skepticism about anything he says.
