Cat and Mouse: Waking Up to America's Silent War at Sea

For the millions of jiggers and elephants who make this blog the undisputed leaders in Republican Party Politics.

This reform minded commentator has returned once again to expose yet another "Shameful" and "Desperate" campaign tactic by the supporters of Southwest Brooklyn Congressional Candidate Michael Grimm.

Ladies and Gentleman for the 2nd time in less than two months a Michael Grimm supporter has challenged the signatures of the soon to be next congressman, of the 13th Congressional District The "Great One" Michael Allegretti.

This time it's Molinari Republican Club Executive Board Member John F. Antoniello who has done the "Dirty Work" of challenging the signatures The "Great One" Michael Allegretti submitted for the "Taxpayers" line for which this reform minded commentator supports.

This comes off the heels of last month's petition challenge by fellow Michael Grimm supporter Robert McFeeley of the "Republican" signatures The "Great One" Michael Allegretti obtained for the upcoming Republican Primary.

Truly "Hateful", "Despicable", and "Morally Banrkupt" politics by the Michael Grimm campaign.

This also comes off the heels of last week's announcement by the Grimm campaign that they were "Too Busy" to debate The "Great One" Michael Allegretti for the Brooklyn Paper.

Not a good way to endear yourself with thousands of Republicans here in Southwest Brooklyn.

Now while The "Great One" Michael Allegretti and the hundreds of volunteers right here in Southwest Brooklyn who stepped up to the plate and "Pounded the Pavement" for over 5,400 signatures to create the "Taxpayers" line for the November election a record for a minor party line in the 13th Congressional District.

Michael Grimm and his "Hideous" and "Heinous" campaign team were not "Too Busy" trying to deny voters a choice in the November elections.

"Hateful", "Despicable", and "Morally Bankrupt" to say the least.

Ladies and Gentleman Molinari Republican Club Executive Board Member John F. Antoniello likely challenged The "Great One" Michael Allegretti's signatures under orders from former Southwest Brooklyn Congressman Guy Molinari who is supporting 13th Congressional District Candidate Michael Grimm.

The "Great One" Michael Allegretti has time and time again "Pounded" more "Pavement" than Michael Grimm who apparently instead of "Pounding Pavement" is not "Too Busy" to deny voters a choice.

Michael Grimm and his campaign team aren't "Too Busy" to deny voters a choice, deny Southwest Brooklyn the opportunity to an "Open" debate, urging there supporters to visit The "Hate Blog" run by Democrat patronage hack Jonathan Judge and of course taking pictures with the assorted criminals such as Lucretia Potter and Arnaldo Ferraro who have run the 49th Assembly District into the ground.

Ladies and Gentleman the only way to describe 13th Congressional District Candidate Michael Grimm, his campaign team and his supporters are "Hateful", "Despicable", and "Morally Bankrupt:".

As always keep it dialed into this blog the undisputed leaders in Republican Party politics for more information on this latest "Shameful" and "Desperate" move by 13th Congressional District Candidate Michael Grimm, and his supporters as soon as we have any new developments.

As Always The Truth Has Spoken.

The Arts In The Obama Age

Posted by: Herb London in Untagged  on

From the origin of the National Endowment for the Arts during the Johnson administration to the election of President Obama the arts community was united in its opposition to censorship. The argument that prevailed is that the NEA should not use funding to restrict artistic expression or deny support for art that might offend bourgeois sensibility.

When a significant segment of the public was outraged to learn that the NEA provided funding for Andres Serrano’s “Piss Christ,” the arts community rose as one decrying censorship over efforts to cut funding for his “art.” The arts community was equally upset at the suggestion that government policymakers might influence the content of its art work. As the arts’ world sees it, the government should pay, but should remain silent about artistic content.

During the George H.W. Bush administration the NEA required grant recipients to sign an anti-obscenity pledge, which sparked a spate of angry comments from the arts community and a generally hostile stance to President Bush.

Now, however, the worm has turned. The NEA under President Obama has expressed a desire to use the agency as a propaganda instrument to promote the administration positions. And astonishingly, the arts world seems all too amendable to political advocacy as part and parcel of its work.

Patrick Courrielche, a film-maker, exposed an Obama administration attempt to use the NEA to build support for the president’s agenda. At a White House meeting artists were encouraged to promote arts activities that “can be used for a positive change.” That, of course, translates into advocacy for presidential policies in healthcare, environment and energy, education, and community service. As Buffy Wicks, deputy director of the White House Office of Public Engagement, noted, “We’re going to come at you with some specific ‘asks’ here.”

On May 23, 2010, 300 union members of Local 220, Retail, Wholesale & Department Store Union (RWDSU), were forced to strike the Williamson, New York Mott's plant (shown above with rat) of the highly profitable Dr. Pepper Snapple Group (DPS) rather than accept a successor collective bargaining agreement worth substantially less than they were currently earning. They remain on strike today for no other reason than DPS' corporate greed. Indeed, it is the first strike in the history of the Local.

Rev. Jesse Jackson: The Question Is Moot!

Once upon a time back in something called the mid-1980s, the Rev. Jesse Jackson hosted "Saturday Night Live." Here is one of the classic skits entitled, "The Question Is Moot!"

I must say that I am enjoying watching an end to another one of Anthony Mele's campaigns. Poor Mr. Mele is being raked over the coals by the local media.  He once again has made ridiculous claims that are completely untrue.  As Mr. Mele sends e-mails out from the bunker refusing to acknowledge the fact that he made a "mistake," his inner circle do their best to make him feel that war can still be won.  Mele's inner circle spends their free time writing whatever they can think of on the websites of the papers reporting on his mistake.  Of course Mele's inner circle are not commenting on the news articles from earlier this week about how he scared the good people of the Lions Club so bad they called the police on him.  What I really like is that 65 years after Hitler committed suicide in his bunker we are watching, in real life, the same dynamics happening.  From a sociological perspective, very enjoyable.  As a voter, watching Mr. Mele tear apart the party, not very enjoyable.

Another nutty night up in Rockland County.  Anthony Mele decided to crash the Lions Club International talk on Afghanistan that initially only York Kleinhandler was invited to speak at (since he just returned from his second deployment there this Spring).  To the Lions Club's credit, they decided to invite Mr. Mele to speak also.  As soon as Mele heard that someone was going to put him in front of a microphone, he couldn't help himself.  Mele sent out a campaign e-mail to his supporters claiming that the event was a campaign event for him.

As soon as the Lions Club leadership got wind of Mele's e-mail, they cancelled Mele and Kleinhandler until after the primary.  Mele allegedly went nuts (this is in line with what his former campaign manager had to say about him in this comments he posted).  The Lions Club leadership was so concerned after Mele reaction that they called the police and asked the police to keep him away.  Mele got a nice call from the locals and they informed him that if he didn't want trouble he should stay away.

Once again, Rockland County is that more exciting (yet dangerous) thanks to Mr. Mele.  I personally can't wait to hear what he is going to do next!
